For fifteen years the team at BetterLoanChoice has been helping people with good and bad credit obtain personal loans. We do not make loans, accept loan application, or make credit decisions. Instead, we connect you with participating lenders who offer loans. We are familiar with the lending marketplace and seek to connect you with those lenders which most likely can help you obtain a loan.
We review your inquiry, and based on your self-reported credit score and other information, we then seek to connect you with the lender or lenders from our network who it appears may offer you a loan at a competitive, relatively lower interest rate. Lenders use many different scoring methods to evaluate your information, and the credit score you provide at your option may not be the same one used by our participating lenders. If you do not receive an offer from a lender at a competitive, relatively lower interest rate, we will then attempt to connect you with lenders who are most likely to offer you a personal loan, even if at a higher rate of interest.
We review the information contained in your inquiry and then seek to connect you with a lender who we believe may provide you with a loan offer, even if at a high rate of interest. Although we will always strive to connect a customer with a lender, this does not mean you will receive a loan offer. If you do not receive any loan offers, we also may direct you to a debt settlement or credit repair service. When you are connected to a lender, we recommend that you review all of the information on their website before accepting a loan offer.
Our process is free to use, and we will never charge you a fee for using BetterLoanChoice.com. We are paid by participating lenders and through other offers on our website, including a separate credit monitoring service. For example, if you decide to accept the offer of the 7-day trial of credit monitoring in order to obtain your current credit score, you will incur a $1 fee along with membership fees unless you cancel your subscription. We receive a onetime payment from the credit monitoring company for any of our customers that sign up for the offer. We review the information that you provide to us and connect you with a lender or lenders with which we have a relationship ("the participating lenders"), and with whom you appear to qualify for a loan.
We know that shopping for a loan can hurt your credit score. Each time a potential lender obtains a
credit report on you, , your credit score may drop. BetterLoanChoice does not request a credit report
on you. This is why we offer two ways for you to provide us with your credit score without harming
your credit: 1) voluntarily provide us with a recent credit score that you have received; or 2) to enroll in
the 7 day trial of credit monitoring, discussed above, in order to obtain your credit score.
Although BetterLoanChoice.com will never pull your credit report, if you are connected a lender, that lender will likely obtain a credit report on you in connection with your request for a loan. This may result in lowering your credit score.
How much we help you is up to you. We have established an easy opt out system, and if you decide that you do not want our promotional and informative emails, you opt out of receiving them. We want to help you, not flood you with unwanted materials. Also, you may contact us anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org.
